 Conclusion
I learned that the effectiveness of these places in bringing people to visit them regularly is the balance of passive and active play. There are spaces which encourage visitors to play as to what is provided for them. Some spaces also encourage them to make up their own kind of play.

Regarding shade, I've observed that most of these places are open to the sky. Only selected places are covered with shade such as places where there are children or where people get ready before plunging into the pool. i think that people still play here despite the sun because their bodies are in contact with water and this makes them feel cool. In addition, water makes a place less humid because of the rate of evaporation and the amount of water vapour in the air.

I have also noticed that visitors get to experience different level of enclosure.

The transition between the walking platform and the water bed is a unique concept. A slope ties them together, unlike a competitive poo where you jump into the pool straight away.

What I would like to integrate in my p1 design is more active play where people make their own fun instead of being forced to play on what there is. I would also like to balance out the amount of light and shade. i would also like to experiment on the transition from the walking platform to the water bed.
