By going out to explore. I realized that there are many interesting things that can help improve the site, be it big or small in size, it can contribute to my design visually, physically and mentally. By having add this tiny details like handrails and lighting to the stairs, it actually helps with the user's safety and perform as other functional things like using the handrails as a support to dance.
I also realize that there are different ways to shade or shelter a place instead of a BIG piece of glass. Although my previous shelter is a big piece of glass and there are reasons why i did it, i can now consider other forms of shade and question my own conviction.
Also by looking at the water features i can now know roughly how tall a my water reach and how to make my water body more interesting instead of simple a flat water surface.
And by studying depressed seating and rest areas, i can now understand and visualize how it can be implemented in my design.
Overall, i realize that is still a lot more things i need to do to my design to make it ergonomically comfortable, safe and attractive.
